Statisticsrevealthatsevenfranchisedpilotprojectshaveattractednearly3.8billionyuan($533million)insocialcapital,resultinginnewandrenovatedheatingareasexceeding6millionsquaremetersandbenefitingnearly200,000people.

WangGang,directoroftheCleanEnergyDevelopmentCenterofChinaUrbanConstructionDesign&ResearchInstituteCo,saidthatXizanglauncheditsfirstcleanheatingpilotprojectinJanuary2024.Sincethen,thecountiesofTsochen,Gojo,Chusum,andthedistrictofSamdrubzehaveadoptedsolarthermalheatingtechnology,thecountiesofKongpo'gyadaandLhundrubhaveutilizedairsourceheatpumptechnology,andtheSernyidistricthasimplementedgeothermalheating.

"Theseinitiativesensurethatindoortemperaturesduringtheheatingseasonconsistentlyremainabove18C,withsomeprojectsexceeding20C,andthatpilotprojectsusingsolarthermalheatingnotonlymeetheatingneedsbutalsoprovide24-hourhotwaterthroughouttheyear,"Wangsaid.
